Terms of Service

ActivityLogs is a developer work journal — a place to log your activities, blockers, snippets, and standups from your terminal, editor, and browser, and turn them into a record of what you actually did. It's built and run by a solo developer, not a large company, so treat it accordingly: it's a useful tool, not a bank.

ActivityLogs doesn't use passwords. Sign-in is TOTP (an authenticator app code) plus an API key for programmatic access (CLI, extensions). This means the TOTP secret shown to you at registration isyour account recovery mechanism — there is no "forgot password" flow. If you lose it, we cannot verify it's you and cannot recover the account. Store it in a password manager or authenticator app you trust, the same way you'd protect any other credential.

You're responsible for what happens under your account, including anything logged through your API key. Keep it private.

• Don't use ActivityLogs for anything illegal or to store data you don't have the right to store.
• Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service to attack it or other users.
• Don't share or resell API keys or accounts.
• Don't log another person's private information without their consent.

ActivityLogs is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or that AI-generated summaries are accurate — always double-check anything Gemini writes for you before relying on it.

To the extent the law allows it, ActivityLogs and its maintainer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost data, lost time, or lost business. If something does go legally wrong, our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months (which, on the free tier, is nothing).

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the acceptable-use rules above, abuse the API, or otherwise put the service or other users at risk.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will update the effective date above; continuing to use ActivityLogs after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Email hello@activitylogs.dev.
